well I just got me 3 blue/green chromis over the weekend (which are pretty cool because their scales change from neon green to bright blue depending on the lighting and the angle at which you view them).

So my question is: are there other small saltwater fish that school? (non-tang answers plz)

Sealab2021,

To The Reefers Inn!

Many fish will school together, just not in the aquarium. The reason most fish school in the wild is because of other agressive fish and predators. When these aren't present in the aquarium, they usually stop schooling.

Some fish that are known for schooling in tanks are: Firegobies (Dartfish), Royal Grammas, Cardinals, Anthias, and certain types of Gobies (Bar Gobies).

It really depends on the size of your tank as well.
