Hi, I have a CPR BakPak skimmer, and it seems to me that the Rio 600 that is on there isn't working too well. What replacement pump can I use on this? Thanks!!

I would look into a Maxi-Jet. They are very good pumps and are recommended by many. I would see if it would work though, I'm not sure if the CPRI BakPak Skimmer needs a certain pump.

Rio's aren't good power heads/pumps they are known for failing on people.

yea but don't you need to get an adaptor to put on a maxi jet and if so were can you get one?
and what size would you get for like a CPR bak pak in a 37 gal tank?
because I run 600 power heads in my tank and I know my power head won't fit inside my bubble trap pre skimmer box?
so what do you up grade to mini maxi jets?

They become dirty with salt, mostly... Usually on freshwater tanks, Rios work great.
